Here's a challenge I came up with in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Beat the Advanced course of the Treacherous Tower under the following conditions:

* Hero Mode
* 3 hearts
* No tunic upgrades
* No sword upgrades
* No Great Spin
* No shield
* No bottled fairies
* No Pegasus dashing (except when the enemies on the current floor are all defeated)
* No equipped items other than the lamp

The challenge turned out to be quite a bit easier than I expected. I thought that the number of enemies would be overwhelming in some parts and that the Moldorm battle would require a lot of luck, but I ended up finding good strategies for nearly every floor.

Although the challenge wasn't terribly difficult, it was still satisfying to complete. I came up with a similar, but easier challenge shortly after the game was released, though I can't remember the exact rules. I wanted to post a video of it, but I had no way to record 3DS footage at the time. Ten years later, I'm glad I was finally able to record a Treacherous Tower challenge. Doing so also gave me a reason to revisit this excellent Zelda game.
