In this video, I'm playing Uboat version B131 and retrying the Scapa Flow mission which is based on the real-life Scapa Flow mission in which HMS Royal Oak was targeted and sunk by 4 torpedoes fired from U47 on the 13th October 1939. Royal Oak sank after she listed to 45 degrees which speeded up her sinking due to the placement of a lot of portholes relatively close to the waterline meaning that when she listed to 45 degrees a lot of her portholes were below the water exacerbating the flooding, she sank with the loss of 833 sailors and was the biggest single loss of life experienced by the Royal Navy only 6 weeks into the war.
