We had early access to the Ubooly iPhone/iPod Touch peripheral. It's a soft cuddly toy that uses the Apple device as the face, ears and voice of a virtual friend for young children. It can already tell stories, initiate imaginative play and tell jokes. The clever thing about the technology that App updates can deliver new functions, characters and content seamlessly.
