Scenario: The Unfinished Samurai by Tsuru
The Washington Naval treaty has been rejected by naval powers around the world, as humanity's newly found talent for aviation has quickly hit its ceiling. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Navy has gone forward with its 8-8 fleet plan, which consists of 8 battleships and 8 battlecruisers. The Amagi class, which was historically never completed, was in fact built, along with 14 of its Japanese contemporaries.

Fast forward 15 years, it is 1937, and Japan has invaded South East Asia, with their massive success in China backing their war effort. The French fleet stationed in the coast of Vietnam mainly consist of upgraded WW1 era ships, but they have the superiority in numbers. You on the other hand, have the edge in technology. You will assist your Army counterpart in the capitulation of South East Asia by sinking the remaining French fleet in the region.

You will build:
2 Amagi class battlecruisers with a speed of at least 34 knots and 10 16inch guns, in 5 dual turrets. The ships must also have at least 6 or more torpedoes. The max tonnage is 40,000 tons, however you can change this part if it is too easy or hard.
Also: 2 BB, 4CA, 7DD
Technology: 1935

The French fleet will consist of 1925 technology ships:
5BB, 3CA, 4CL, and 9 DD

Sink all of the enemy ships, while keeping alive at least 3 of your 2 Amagi classes and 2 BBs, along with 2 CAs.
