PVP (0:30)

Pulse Rifles
High Impact are to recieve a buff in rate of fire & increased base damage
- Relentless (Trials Pulse Rifle) with noticeable perks - Snapshot & Headseeker. One of the few High Impact Pulse Rifles to stand out to me in the Current Meta in crucible.
Adaptive Pulse Rifles are to recieve a buff in rate of fire & increased base damage but a decrease in precision multiplier
- Inaugural Address (Raid Pulse Rifle) with noticeable perks - Kill Clip & Outlaw. Depending on the increase in rate of fire this weapon could become a monster.
Lightweight Pulses are recieving a increased in precision multiplier
- Nightshade (Vanguard Pulse Rifle) with noticeable perks - Kill Clip. Already solid in the current meta with great base stats and good perks, this thing will only get better.
- Infinite Paths 8 (Forge 8 Weapon) with noticeable perks - Dragonfly & Accurized Rounds. Again, another solid choice already in the current meta with only improvement in its future.
- Nergal PR4 (Omolon Pulse Rifle) with noticeable perks - Full Auto. Decent base stats but horrible base range. It has been consistently outshine by 450 autos for that reason. Hopefully we'll see this weapon shine a little.
Rapid Fire Pulses are recieving an increase in base damage
- Darkest Before (Trials Pulse Rifle) with noticeable perks - Full Auto & Quickdraw. A long time personal favorite of mine. A snappy full auto pulse that even in the current meta can handle its own.
- Time Worn Spire (Iron Banner Pulse Rifle) with noticeable perks - Zen Moment & Accurized Rounds. I've personally masterworked mine here recently and it has been a nasty option in crucible. The only con to this weapon is it's low handling. A +10 Masterwork helps a lot here.
Exotics Pulse to look out for
- Vigilence Wing (Exotic 5 Round Burst Pulse) with noticeable perks - Harsh Truths & Last Stand. Another personal favorite of mine specially in Trials. It shoots 5 rounds at a time with the ability to snag the 4th and 5th shot around corners due to it's animation. Its a pulse rifle but plays very well in peak oreiented scenarios and does a good job catching enemies off guard. It falls in the rapid fire category so it will be receiving a base damage buff.
For May update 1.2.0 we have
- Graviton Lance (Exotic 2 Round Burst Pulse) with noticeable perks - Black Hole & Cosmology. It has been confirmed by bungie that individual buffs are ng toward this Pulse. Dropping this weapon from the normal 3 round burst to now 2 round bursts raises questions how the rate of fire will be balanced since this weapon is considered an adaptive frame pulse. This could be deadly depending on the Black Hole's effect and aoe damage of Cosmology.

Hand Cannons
Overal increase in accuracy while aiming down sights and hip fire accuracy on consoles.
Precision Hand Cannons are also recieving a precision multiplier increase.
- West of Sunfall 7 (Forge 7 Weapon) with noticeable perks High Cal or Accurized Rounds.
- Better Devils will still be a good option as well in the 140 rpm archetype along with annual skate being a personal favorite of mine.
- Sunshot and Jack Queen King 3 are my personal favorites in the 150 rpm archetype.

Sidearms
- Traveler's Judgment 5 (Forge 5 Weapon) with noticeable perks Headseeker & Accurized or Steady Rounds. A Great sidearm to masterwork and a weapon to go head to head with Last Hope users.
SMG Meta will most likely stay the same with probably an increase in sidearm usage. Not sure how I feel about that.
Snipers
Increased aim assist
- Shepared's Watch (My favorite Sniper) with noticeable perks Moving Target. Weapon has nasty target acquisition as it is, but the added buff will make it deadly.
- Maxim XI (New Monarchy Sniper Rifle) with noticeable perks Snapshot & a short zoom sight.
- The Long Walk (Trials Sniper) a favorite of mine with noticeable perks Quick Draw.

PVE (9:53)
The Power weapon that I will be immeidately focused on after the update is
- Maestro-46 with noticeable perks Triple Tap & Extended Mag. I did a dps test months ago between this and rocket launchers but rockets still held the title. With the increase PVE damage and increased inventory size, you could see snipers like Meastro finally rising to the top in DPS.
