A playthrough running Valorian in heroic mine boss.

Notes: Valorian is costly to get, but he is useful for supporting the party.


Eagle strike can be guaranteed to hit with diamond runestone. His support may only last 2 turns, but if the shield breaks, damage is returned back. His ultimate strikes a column of enemies and supports the party with Damage Reduction and for a couple of turns a temporary HP increase. If you'd like to provide best capabilities with his ultimate, knowing he's a tanky hero, keep him with regeneration.


Holy benediction gives the party a 50% chance to get a shield equal to 20% of his max HP if he is hit by a critical attack. This is counteractive against players who use Moira the Judicator knowing her ultimate can always crit.


His final passive, disc of creation, provides 30% DEF to everyone, immunity to rage reduction and stealing attacks (can be overturned by Dora the Temptress, Enchantress, Durona, and Plague Queen), and can provide a special passive. If a ally loses more than 90% of their HPs, they will become invulnerable for one turn. You can see this action in effect with the blue aura below heroes.
