VAXEE ZYGEN NP01-S thoughts and the 2:1 ratio for mouse size
1,230This is one of those mice you can put your hand on and just say "wow that feels good". Very familiar shape, no doubt will be very popular among the Zowie FK, EC and S crowd. Basically the same team behind those moved onto this and they definitely have a certain style.
I'm still not a fan of their wheels. The cables are maybe a tiny bit too stiff but they're fine. And it's a little heavier than what we want these days. But other than that, everything is pretty solid. Good materials, well built, etc.
I will say that because this is basically a thinner NP-01, it feels too long for how wide it is. I've found horizontal aim is pretty great with these, but there is too much stability on the vertical now. I think personally I would have preferred if they had just made a smaller NP-01.
