This gameplay walkthrough from ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (AC Valhalla)’ will show you all the choices and outcomes (all endings) in Snotinghamscire. You can either choose Vili or choose Trygve as he New jarl of Snotingham.
During the Main Quest, “Under the Skin” in Snotinghamscire story arc, you’ll be presented with the dialogue option, “Snotinghamscire can’t lose another” and “Do as you must, Trygve”. If you choose the former, Trygve won’t burn himself at the pyre. On the contrary, choosing the latter will cause him to burn himself.
If Trygve survives this situation, during the Main Quest, “Farewells and Legacies”, you’ll have an option to either pick Vili or Trygve for Earldorman. Selecting the dialogue, “I see a jarl in you” will pick Vili while selecting the dialogue, “I see Trygve as jarl, and you with me” will pick Trygve. Picking Trygve will automatically get Vili on your side.
On the contrary, if you had already caused Trygve to burn himself, Vili won’t join your clan/settlement even if you pick him since he would already be an Earldorman. If Trygve is alive and you pick Vili, only Vili will become part of your team.
We suggest to choose Trygve as the Jarl, this will let Vili join your settlement. But all this will be possible if you would have saved Trygve in the “Under The Skin” choice. During the “Farewells and Legacies” mission in Snotinghamscire, you will again have a choice to make. This time the choice will be on who should become Jarl in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The choice will be between Trygve (Earldorman) and Vili. The choices and consequences will be:
I see a jarl in you: This will make Vili the Jarl and no one will join your settlement. This will be a default option if Trygve would have died. I see Trygve as jarl, and you with me: Selecting this choice will make Trygve the Jarl, and Vili will join your settlement. That’s the reason why we recommended to choose “Snotinghamscire can’t lose another” and “I see Trygve as jarl, and you with me” options.
