Okay, we hire our first additional party member: Wei Huo. We'll get to grips with a bit more combat and set off on the quest to get some snake venom, cos we all know that what cures venom, is getting moar envenomed. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right?

The character upgrade system is pretty interesting, it feels unique even though I can tell where its influences lie.
