So it turns out you can force PD2 to run the Safe House defence, even though it's all disabled in the Beta. It goes as well as you can expect.

However, we think the crashing is unrelated to the heist. Unclear what it is, I crashed once on Mallcrasher from a tazer, and in Xmas heist while trying to tie up a civ. So buggered if I know
