We Took A Road Trip Around North Texas During the Texas Winterpocalypse
3Of course I can never get a video done in a timely manner. We did this trip back in the middle of February right as the winter storm hit Texas. Of course we planned this trip like 2 months before hand so we had no idea what the weather was going to do that far out. And by the time we got that close to the actual trip date it was too late to cancel so we just said screw it and went anyway. People thought we were crazy for doing this and they're probably right.
Honestly we probably had a better time doing this road trip than other people who hunkered down at home. Power and water was going out but we had a reliable heater connected to an equally reliable v6 generator that followed us around XD. If you see us pause for a while in hotel parking lots that's basically us frantically calling other hotels around to see if we could have a place to sleep for the night. We didn't reserve any hotel rooms because we didn't know how far we would be able to travel each day so there was no way we would know where we could stop that night.
Anyway I hope you enjoy, it was a challenge condensing a week of driving time down to just over an hour.
