It sounds like a bunch of content creators are getting together to do more Imperator: Rome and I *had* intended to do this for the Ides of March, so I guess we'll do it for this 5th anniversary celebration!

Imperator: Rome has had some ups and downs. It had a bumpy release, a fun DLC with the Hellenistic World and Epirus, an excellent 2.0 patch but, ultimately, it wasn't enough. The game, unfortunately was dropped by Paradox. Laith has been gradually working on Paradox, though, and it seems like his work is paying off. While we haven't gotten any confirmation from Paradox that they are planning on picking the game up again, the more of us who play this game the more likely they are to do *something* with it (though hey, a bugfix patch ain't nothing!).

This video is intended to serve both as a full introduction to the game's mechanics as well as a blow-by-blow way to win the Fourth Diadochi War with Antigonos Monophthalmus and his son, Demetrios (you can try to win it all with the One-Eyed general, but he's so damn old at game start that it's not worth trying to save scum). Historically, the realm of the Antigonids was partitioned during this war, the Antigonids driven into exile and Antigonos himself killed, but Imperator: Rome offers us some spicy tools to outwit our political enemies, and hey, it's maybe even thematic? I mean, the Antigonids *did* historically position themselves as the defenders of "Greek Liberty" as a political tool to oppose Antipatrid dominance in Hellas.
