Have you ever experienced a single board computer emulation machine? Perhaps you played one of the Classic Mini's put out Nintendo, Sega, or Turbografix-16? Well, the retropie can be all of those killer systems and more! You see, the RetroPie can play multiple classic systems like the ones I mentioned but also emulates classic arcades. It's not quite a plug and play device and there is some setup involved so it's not for everyone. But for those of you who find this intriguing or already invested in the Retropie, today I thought it would be cool to highlight a hot off the press theme created by Phill's Doodles called Retrorama Turbo. As you can see for yourself, we have a lush fantastic art style that shows off these classic characters in Phil's own unique way. This theme seems to be an ode to comic books, Street Fighter, and Classic Gaming all rolled into one. Now, you might be asking, what is a Retropie theme? Essentially it's the way the menus look in retropie. There are hundreds of themes available to customize your own Retropie with and if you get tired of one theme you can always change it to another one. Let's take a look at the basics of this one and appreciate what Phil has come up with.
