Disgusted with the fact that Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary is voices by a new cast, Im wondering if it is possible to revive Tim Curry (and the rest of the original cast). IAW enjoy the beautiful new graphics but have the feel (I mean sound) of old. Of course any newly created scenes will have to be text only and deleted scenes, well they will not be in there.

The original audio (voice) files for Gabriel Knight are on the CD in the folder called AUD. Resource.aud is the file you need. a program like Wavepad can play it. Its one long file, although there must be a way to separate the individual lines.

But as you can see, the script was changed!
Which makes it harder to just replace the lines. :(

Still, the quality of the original isnt that bad and Im sure there are ways to enhance it.

So the big question is: Can it be done?
Is it possible to add the original voice files to the new ones?
Is someone brave enough to do it?
