The Dreamcast. If there were ever a way to make an exit from the console wars, as far as game library goes, that's a nice way to depart from the race. SEGA's first party output was phenomenal - the Sonic Adventure games, Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, to name a few.

But with such a library as this, apparently one so highly esteemed, why is that SEGA would have to depart from consoles at all? What happened that made the maker of the Genesis and the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise have to bow out from the continuing drama of the console wars?
