Even before signing Neymar, Puma had built a reputation of producing top quality football boots, at prices that were significantly lower than the more popular competition from Nike and Adidas. With the Ultra being arguably the most underrated boot on the market for a number of years. More recently however, things have gone downhill. What went wrong?
In today's video we take a closer look at the Puma Ultra Ultimate in the new Rush pack colorway, along with discussing what I believe are the 3 aspects of the Ultra that Puma simply got wrong. It's not that they're terrible football boots by any means, but compared to all of the competition in the "speed" category, I really feel like Puma have missed the mark with this one.
