In 2010, fresh off the heels of their critical darling, Bayonetta, Platinum Games decided to make a somewhat odd and fast paced Third Person Shooter that relied on bullet-time and sliding. It was a very unique game, and a very well made one at that. Except it never struck the same cord with audiences that Bayonetta did. Vanquish is a game that I always revisit and I just wanted to figure out what's so special about this game? Why is it so addicting? Why is it still fun to revisit all these years later?
