Where have you gone? - The End is Nigh! (WillPending 04/28/2022)
0In today's record of The End is Nigh I explain why I'll be needing to take a hiatus from streaming. I've thought about it for a while, and while I definitely would've been satisfied streaming somewhat regularly into the future, I'm not too bummed about this outcome either. I go back and forth about how I feel about streaming at the bottom rung of the Twitch ladder, but ultimately I still feel like my time is better spent elsewhere. I'm one of those crazy people who wants my content to actually be seen, and I know that consistently streaming is not the best way of achieving that goal. I'm perfectly content just doing other work that I have more passion in at the moment and returning to streaming if the door ever properly opens up for me to do so. I'm still confident in what I've done on my streams, but there's very little motivation to continue putting so much effort into something if no one is there to witness it. This is a significantly better departure than my last hiatus, so you don't need to worry about my mental state or anything. I'm very excited to put some heavy focus on more impactful projects than my streaming "career", but I am sorry for the few who enjoyed my streams. For now, thanks for watching if you ever have, and hopefully you'll be able to watch again soon!
The End Is Nigh is a sprawling adventure platformer where the player takes control over Ash, one of few "things" that have "survived" the "end of the world".
Follow Ash as he flops his way through a future of pain and suffering. Feel his stress levels rise as you throw him into an endless swarm of decaying, mutant animal-like creatures and help aid his final epic quest... to simply make a friend (out of pieces of people he finds along his journey).

This video was streamed live on my Twitch channel. I play a variety of mostly indie games, but in general don't like sitting in the same spot for too long, so things get mixed up pretty frequently. I try to put a focus on the conversation and banter of the stream, so hopefully that's something you find entertaining regardless of what I'm using as a backdrop!
