Why we'll never get a game like Battlefield 1 again
342It's been 6 years since battlefield 1 was released, and still, even in 2023, there's not a single multiplayer first-person shooter like it. Revisiting the game made me realize the level of issues and decline in passion in the gaming industry, especially after looking at some of its core values, its immersion, and its atmosphere.
I love battlefield 1, and I always will, it's one of the most ambitious games ever created for me that connects deeply to my heart, showcasing war in the way it's meant in its depravity. It really shows how Dice has completely abandoned their care for newer releases, including battlefield 2042, which is still quite the failure.
