2Code Vein is quintessentially, a dark souls style game. The gameplay loop is a damn near exact copy and paste, with a more forgiving, yet still brutal combat system. Take the formula, and paste a pile of anime on top. That gives you Code Vein.
How does that feel?
AWESOME.
The small changes make this game feel more approachable coming from someone who is just not that interested in Dark Souls. It has the correct appeal to bring in a whole new audience to the genre.
