In today's episode we look at the increasingly discussed and ever fluctuating prospects of an FF8 Remake, the historic fortunes of the title, and the wildly varying opinions that surround it.

The most controversial aspect by far has historically been the junction system which has been suggested as switching out to an affinity system, or an alternative altogether, but nontheless remains integral to the FF8 story and the lore of the game world, so cannot be removed entirely.
