Quick Review of World War Z. This is a really fun cooperative 3rd person shooter where you face off against TONS of zombies.

Hello my fellow zombie hunters. Welcome back to another Kriner Scoop Review this time of World War Z.

I’m gonna go ahead and throw it out there. I think this game is super cool. It is like Left 4 Dead ( a series I very much love) turned up to 100. Like left 4 dead, you fight with a team of 4 (online play is of course included and a focus here). Unlike left 4 dead There are much much more zombies, and along with that, more weapons and ways to fight said zombies. You will need them because as you progress through the separate campaigns (similar to left 4 dead) you will face tougher zombie variations (again similar to left 4 dead’s special infected) that need a little extra juice to take down.

Look its very obvious that this game takes a lot of influence from Left 4 Dead. But for good reason. That series is truly amazing. Many games have tried to recreate the same formula (For instance earth fall alien horde) and I don’t think they quite achieve it like World War Z does here. And it adds just enough with the satisfying new weapons and the true hordes of zombies to make it its own unique experience worth coming back to.

Final thoughts. I want to be clear that this game is not as good as left 4 dead. It lacks a certain focus. But there is also a lot of ambition here from World War Z to stand on its own merits as a game that you and some friends should download and play for a weekend at the very least. Final score: 4/5 zombies.
