World War Z is a 2019 third person co op #zombie shooter video game developed and published by Saber Interactive, it is loosely based on the 2006 novel of the same name and is set in the same universe as the 2013 movie World War Z. The game follows groups of four survivors of a zombie apocalypse in the cities of New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, Tokyo, Marseille, Rome and Kamchatka.
Apart from the co op campaign mode the game also features several competitive multiplayer modes as well.
An upgraded version of the game called Aftermath was released in 2021 featuring new characters, locations, a revamped melee system and a first person mode.
Platforms: PC, PS4, X Box One, Nintendo Switch(in 2021) and Google Stadia(in 2022)
