I have played a lot of race sims and was really excited to give this one a try. At first play through i immediately hated the graphics, after playing Dirt with all its visually pleasing textures and in car views i felt WRC 2 was well below par in terms of where video games are at these days. Your co driver also is terrible, yelling out that your to slow or are ahead instead of focusing on the next turn has made me wreck on several occasions. Some calls he says to late for instance a 90 degree turn is ahead and he yells out slow down caution right 2 when your literally almost to the turn so unless you know the corner you almost always go off the track. The damage even on heavy makes no sense, ill barrel into a tree and keep right on going when my radiator should be smashed in and the engine should be failing
About the only reason to play this game is for the large amount of stages decent driving physics and officially licensed cars. Other than that this game falls well below where an officially licensed game should be at.
