For our newest playlist here on the Praying Grantis Channel, the time has come for us to go through the illustrious career of John Cena. More specifically, we'll be focusing on each of his sixteen world title victories, starting with the one that started it all; Cena's WWE Championship match against JBL at WrestleMania 21.
At No Way Out 2005, John Cena managed to defeat Kurt Angle in the finals of a tournament to crown a new number one contender. With a guarnateed title shot at WrestleMania 21 in his possession, all Cena had to do was defeat the current WWE Champion; JBL. John Bradshaw Layfield had been on a roll since winning the title against Eddie Guerrero, and no matter the obstacle, JBL always managed to retain his championship. In Cena, JBL saw nothing more than street thug, and he was determined to destroy Cena before he could ever reach the pinnacle of WWE.
