XBOX Original Flicker Filter On Vs Off For 480i/576i Resolution - Affro's Curiosities
Welcome to Affro's Curiosities! This is season 6 & it promises to be bigger & more interesting than ever before!
We are going to cover something that stumped me for quite some time & that's the XBOX's flicker filter!
For those in NTSC regions, the XBOX could output video at 480p, 720p & 1080i in select games using component cables or in more recent times, HDMI adapters! Sadly, for those using any other cable type or PAL consoles, we don't get to use those modes!
Sadly, this results in the flicker filter turned on at maximum settings, with only a few games allowing you to turn it off.
So, can it be turned off for more games & if so, how will the games look?
