The year is 2001 and we follow Ichiban Kasuga, a junior member of the Tojo Clan's Arakawa Family. On this fateful day Ichiban is asked to take the fall for a murder and go to prison for the sake of the family... all to save Jo Sawashiro... the apparent actual murderer. Ichiban agrees and heads to prison for 18 years in order to become the hero he always dreamed to be within the clan. 18 years pass and... no one remembers him. The 18 years have been wasted. Yakuza!!!!
