Years ago Fantasy Flight Games released one of the best themed games of all time - Red November. While you are being attacked by a Kraken your sub is failing and you are all working together to survive just long enough until the rescue crew arrives. Its madness, its fun, and nothing you do strategically is generally rewarded. You can even win a couple different ways. Plus you are always drinking to much Grog - and you're all Gnomes.

Best theme ever - possibly.
