How to Play Yu-gi-oh!. Basics of how to play Yu-gi-oh!.

The max Card Limit per Deck is 60. the Recommended amount of cards in a Deck is 40.
1,Rock paper scisscor to decides who goes first
2. at the start of the duel each player has 5 cards each in there hand.
3.The Person who goes first cannot draw on the first turn or enter the battle phase.
4.the 2nd turn you can start drawing a card and attack.
5.There a Draw Phase which happens during turn 2. there a standby phase which is waiting. then Main phase 1 which you start your turn. then you can Enter your battle phase or end your turn which is end phase After Battle Phase you can enter Main Phase 2 which is kind of the same as Main phase 1.
6. Each Player Starts with 8000 life points whoever life points drop to zero wins the duel. if your deck turns to 0 you lose the duel if you can't draw any more cards in your deck. like if you drew your last card. on your next turn you can't draw you lose the duel by deck out.
7.During end phase if you have 7 cards in your hand you must discard 1 card in your hand since you have to many in your hand.
8.Yellow Cards are consider as Normal Monsters. Orange Cards is Effect monsters. You can only Normal summon once per turn. tribute summon is consider as A Normal summon. When a Monster is Face down Horzonital it is set card and its in defense position. in defense position you won't take any battle damage. when your opponent attacks your face down set card it is flipped face up defense position. you won't take any battle damage unless it has pierceing damage said on the card. Vertical cards face up is Consider as Attack position and you can attack your oppnent during the battle phase. when your opponent has no monsters on the field it is consider as a direct attack.
9.You can only attack with the monster Once per turn unless the card says you can attack twice.
10.Flip Monster effects can be activated during your turn or when your opponent battles it and it will flip face up and it trigger its effect like man-eater bug
11.Special Summon is differnt from Normal summon. you can special summon as many as you want if the card say so.
12.Tribute summon is same as normal summon for example 5-6=1 tribute would mean requires 1 monster on field to tribute summon and when i tribute it will consider as a tribute and it is a normal summon as well so i can't normal summon anymore after i tribute summon it. 5-6=1 tribute 6-12=2 tributes 10-12-Other like Obliesk the tormentor requires 3 tributes because the card says you must tribute 3 monsters
13.During your turn if your opponent did not attack your facedown position monster it is not flipped yet. during your main phase 1 you can flip summon it and it will change into attack position it is consider as flip summon and flip effects can be trigger also.
