In 2008 a group of Zelda fans known as "Team Beta Triforce" was trying to create a playable version of the Zelda: Ocarina of Time beta screens that we saw in old gaming magazines, modding the final game to create places, enemies and animations that would have been similar to what Zelda 64 could have looked like on the 64DD, during its early days. Unfortunately this MOD was never completed and as far as i know it was never released to the public. They uploaded this trailer on Youtube to show their progress, but it seems that the video was later removed. I have uploaded this backup to preserve it, because it looked awesome. Here are some more info about this unreleased MOD: http://www.unseen64.net/2008/11/15/ocarina-of-time-beta-restoration-project/
As many years has passed, it's possible that some info in this description are wrong, is so, please send me an email to info@unseen64.net unfortunately i'm not able to reply to Youtube comments because of their new system trough Google+.
