(045) Final Fantasy VII (7) 100% Walkthrough - Final Boss: Sephiroth
170In this part, we enter the center of the crater and fight Jenova Synthesis, and Sephiroth.
JENOVA SYNTHESIS
Difficulty: 6/10
HP: 60,000
Jenova Synthesis' Attacks: Jenova will use Bio2, Silence, two different physical attacks, and will countdown before using Ultima.
Strategy: Do NOT use Knights of Round to attack Jenova. If you do Bizarro Sephiroth will gain an additional 60,000 HP and Safer Sephiroth will gain an additional 80,000 HP. Cast Big Guard, then use Double Cut (4x Cut if trained) and then spam mime to trash Jenova quickly. Otherwise use heavy attacks minus Knights to end this.
BIZARRO SEPHIROTH
Difficulty: 7/10
HP: 60,000 - 180,000 (Varies depending on your party)
Bizarro Sephiroth's Attacks: Bizarro will heal itself with Bizarro Energy, use Stigma to inflict Poison and Slow, use a normal attack, and Heartless Angel which drops everyone to 1 HP.
Strategy: To win you must destroy Bizarro's main body. Use any and everything in your arsenal to attack it, and switch between parties if you like, this makes no difference besides avoiding a game over if low on health.
SAFER SEPHIROTH
Difficulty: 8/10
HP: 80,000 - 400,000 (Varies depending on party)
Safer Sephiroth's Attacks: Safer uses a pattern of attacks. First he will either use Wall or DeSpell (usually Wall first) to increase his defense or weaken yours. Second, he will use Shadow Flare if he used Wall, or Deen if he used DeSpell. Third, he will use a physical attack that inflicts Paralyze and Darkness. Fourth, he will float up into the air and become a long range enemy making most members physical attacks useless. Fifth, he will use Pale Horse which inflicts Frog, Small and Sadness. Sixth he will use Super Nova which will take a LONG time to hit and usually takes nearly all of your HP but cannot actually kill you. Seventh, he will cast Break if he is above 25% Hp which might Petrify a party member, or use Heartless Angel if he has less that 25% HP left. Finally eighth, he will float back down to physical attack range and repeat the pattern.
Strategy: As with Bizarro use Big Guard, then unleash everything on him. Having Ribbons equipped will dodge status ailments. Be ready to throw a megalixer as soon as you see him preparing Super Nova or Heartless Angel.
