12 Days of Xmas 04 - Rakugakids for the Nintendo 64
On the fourth day of Christmas, we're busting out the trusty Nintendo 64 and a copy of Rakugakids, a game released in Japan and Europe. It's got a very unique look and I appreciate how silly and fun the experience is. A fighting game perfect for busting out with kids around.
Rakugakids (らくがきっず, Rakugakizzu) is a 2.5D fighting video game created by Konami for the Nintendo 64, released in 1998. The name Rakugakids is a portmanteau of the Japanese word rakugaki (meaning "doodle") and the English word "kids", a reflection of the visual style of the game, which resembled children's drawings.
