The Resident Evil 4 Remake is unbelievable. The remake is faithful to the original game while changing the tone to fit with the darker remakes of RE2 and 3 and modernizing the graphics and controls to fit in the modern gaming landscape. There are some people who don’t think Resident Evil 4 ever needed a remake since the original title has largely held up over the past 18 years, but the remake changes just enough to add to the series in its own way. The remake doesn’t replace the original, but instead stands alongside the original as its own thing. And just like the original, this game is going down as an all-timer for the survival horror genre. This is a must-play game for 2023.

A score of ten doesn't mean there aren't small faults or bugs in the game, or features that would have been cool if they existed. It just means either those faults or bugs haven't affected me or don't detract from the experience in a significant way.
