0The Human Noble origin is not very good. The game cannot communicate history and drama of this situation efficiently due to character models, ugly graphics, and bad choices in voice actor/performance that makes everything so obvious. That makes it hard to get invested because you know they’re all going to die and then they do. Gameplay combat is you fighting people around every corner but the combat system is so simple at this time that there is no engagement with it.
Mage origin so far is a bit more interesting as they throw you into initiation that is more imaginative than the Noble origin story. Fade is Warp, Mages are Psykers, Grey Wardens are Witchers, fiction has only so much imagination.
