Welcome to A San Marino Challenge, where I will attempt to turn the small nation of San Marino into a world football powerhouse! The actual challenge involves taking San Marino to #1 in the World Rankings while simultaneously taking a club based in San Marino to Champions League glory. But it wouldn't be interesting to me without a few changes!

It's our first ever match in European continental football, so I wanted to make sure that we kept a record of it! We're up against Braga in the Fourth Qualifying Round, and the first leg is away. Winning this tie will get us into the Group Stage so we're looking to put ourselves in a good position for the home leg.

But we start by reviewing our tactic. It's evolved over the seasons, so if you've been with us since the beginning, you may see the subtle shifts that we've made to keep it working. Freshening up your tactic helps keep other teams from learning it as easily, as even subtle shifts can make the tactic play completely differently even if the shape stays the same.
