- Story -

In this part, we enter Sol Sanctum and solve it's various puzzles alongside Garet, Jenna, and Kraden. After solving two large puzzles we conclude that the second one was a trap and that the first deactivated the trap, meaning Saturos and Menardi actually did sneak into Sol Sanctum. We investigate the beam heading into the wall and reveal a portal leading to a mysterious room housing the four Elemental Stars. Kraden gets excited and asks us to gather the Elemental Stars so he can study them for a bit. After gathering the Venus, Mercury, and Jupiter Stars however, we realize Kraden hasn't spoken in a while and find out that both Kraden and Jenna have been taken hostage by Saturos and Menardi. The evil duo demand that we hand over the Elemental Stars if we want our friends to be released safely. A moment later two more people enter the room who are allies of Saturos and Menardi, Alex and a masked man. Upon questioning whether or not they will keep their promise, the masked man reveals himself to be Felix, Jenna's brother who was thought dead three years ago during the storm. With Felix there to protect them from harm, we agree to the terms and hand over the first three Elemental Stars to Alex. However they refuse to let Jenna and Kraden go until we collect the final Star, the Mars Star. Upon collecting it, the room falls apart and activates the dormant volcano inside Mt. Aleph forcing Saturos and Menardi's group to flee while threatening Jenna and Kraden's lives unless we follow them and give them the Mars Star. We are left stranded in the collapsing room and are rescued by the Wise One who sends us out of the chamber. After fleeing Sol Sanctum ourselves, we return to Vale and tell everyone what happened. After a long conversation it is decided both Garet and ourselves must set out on a journey to stop Saturos and Menardi from using the Elemental Stars to light the four Lighthouses across the world. Upon leaving we receive the Catch Beads from Garet's sister and enter the World Map.

Upon gathering far more Adepts into the story i'll cover them here. We find out that Jenna is a Fire Adept just like Garet and so are Saturos and Menardi. Alex is a Water Adept, and Felix is an Earth Adept just like Isaac. Kraden is not an Adept.

We gain a few new types of Psynergy such as "Retreat" which allows us to flee from dungeons back to the entrance at any time. Through leveling up, Isaac learns Cure which allows him to heal one person from a moderate amount of health. Lastly, we receive the Catch Beads which when equipped, allows us to use "Catch" with whoever equipped it. "Catch" can only be used outside of battle and can be used to grab items out of reach such as Nuts in trees and keys.

There are four Elemental Lighthouses in the world each representing it's own element. If the Elemental Stars are used in these Lighthouses to light their beacons, they will release the power of Alchemy into the world, which could be catastrophic if used by the wrong people.
