Afallon is an Indie, Open World, single player take on old WoW; with better combat! Wow.
Think Classic WoW (World of Warcraft) but more player friendly.

A More Friendly, More Action Focused Single Player WoW?
Like WoW, you have that similar sort of low res, easy to run look, along with the expected “!” style of questing, similar sort of resource gathering, item system, and the tab targeting, so WoW veterans will feel very comfortable here.
However, Afallon actually has much better combat!
In Afallon, you have stamina, and can sprint, and dodge!
WoW doesn’t let you do that!
Unlike Wow, there are no auto attacks here; good, as that means every action the player takes is directly in their hands, and thus more predictable: no waiting for your auto attack to trigger your next ability, or miss out on some dps.
Also, there is no mana or energy, or rage here, just ability cooldowns.
Mana-less casting = much less downtime spend drinking for casters!
Layoff the jungle juice mage!

There are also no ghost corpse runs here: you spawn back at the graveyard with your stuff immediately at no cost; so friendly.
In Afallon, your gear does not have durability here either, so no need to burn gold to make repairs after an unfortunate death; looking at you WoW…

The World of Afallon:
It looks good.
The map looks very nice, even at this early stage; always nice to see.
The swamp area of the demo has a real adventurous feel to them; all the glowing phosphorescent mushrooms and fireflies, setting a nice mood while exploring and battling through the undead and slime infested mysterious swamp; as I said, it looks good.

As an Open World, Exploration Focused, Action RPG, Afallon is willing to give the player the space to stuff their gathered goods.
The player inventory is simply enormous; no WoW style bag collecting and crafting here!
The harvestable items have a slight golden sparkle around them, and take time to harvest; like in WoW.
There are WoW style ore nodes around that need a pick to harvest, along with wild mushrooms, flowers, and herbs that you can gather and use directly, to maybe heal you, increase your speed, or your regeneration; or to use later for crafting.
So, Afallon has fun interactable and useful items to find; always nice.

Note: This is an Early look at Afallon so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, Afallon is an Indie, Open World, Exploration Focused, Action RPG, Single Player take on old WoW, with better combat, and is easily well worth a wishlist and a watch.
