Angry Birds AR Isle of Pigs Gameplay (iOS) & First Impression Review
36Trying out Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs, an augmented reality version of the popular Angry Birds mobile game. The game has been released for Magic Leap (Mixed Reality) and for Virtual Reality (VR) and Rovio, it's developer, decided to bring it to augmented reality (iOS-iPhone/iPad) as well. Enjoy the gameplay with beautiful Japanese temples in the background.
The game feels very much different from the standard mobile game. It now plays in the first-person perspective and the player gets a chance to move around the level and try to find out the best place to throw the birds at.
The game itself was built using the idea of players moving around the level and trying to find spots that can help take the towers down and eliminate all pigs in the level with the least amount of shots. If you do that, you'll get rewards with more stars (up to 3) and this means more coins, and more coins mean you will be able to unlock the next levels faster.
This is my first impressions of Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs. Overall, enjoyed it a lot and had a blast playing it outside in Shintennoji Temple. I plan to play more and bring a full review pretty soon, so stay tuned. Until then, enjoy gameplay videos of Angry Birds AR Isle of Pigs.
