Hooray for new things! This is Audiosurf! A game that will create a track with obstacles for you to ride on based on your own music! The length and intensity of each track is exclusive to the song you open with it. Which could be ANY song... More on that in a moment.

There are also many modes to play in this game, but I forgot what they all are so I guess we'll find out sooner or later. :P Each mode gets it's own individual "ship" and there are three difficulty levels: Casual, Pro, and Elite. The difficulty increases in that order.

So let's see... The song I decided to play this time was Essence of Lime which is a remix of the intro and title screen of Oracle of Ages. I think it's rather fitting as the first of these vids...

Let's cut to the chase, shall we? I'm taking song requests for this. It takes most common music file types such as mp3 and m4a. So request something and I'll find it! (or at least try xD)

Also, you can request which mode and which difficulty to play. I'll give a list of what's in each difficulty:

Casual: Mono, Pointman, and Double Vision
Pro: Mono, Vegas, Eraser, Pointman, Pusher, and Double Vision
Elite: Mono, Eraser, Pointman, Pusher, and Double Vision

I'll do the descriptions of each one as they are selected. This first time was Ninja Mono, the Elite difficulty Mono mode. In Mono you try to hit the colored blocks while avoiding the gray ones. Pretty simple.

In addition to those options, there are other features that you can request to customize your ride even further.

Color: You can choose up to five colors. The blocks and track features change color based on the intensity of the song. The default for most intense is red, while for the least intense it's purple.

Screen Effect: Choose one from None (default), Rust, Negative, Outline, or Paint.

Background: Choose one from Autopick (default, will be white for Casual, black for Pro, and gray for Elite), White Black, or Gray.

Sound Effects: Choose one type of sound that will be heard when blocks are hit and when you get a chain of blocks. Chimes (default), Circuits, Chill Out, Cyclone, and No Sounds.

To suggest something, just post a comment on the most recent Audiosurf video! Use a template like this:

Song: Essence of Lime (add artist if necessary)
Difficulty: Elite
Mode: Ninja Mono
Color: Red (put most intensive first), Yellow, Green, Cyan, Purple (simply type "default" if you want default colors)
Screen Effect: None
Background: Autopick
Sound Effects: Cyclone
