Toshinden 4 shows how you really end a franchise on a seriously shitty note by not only alienating your original fans but by also confusing the absolute utter hell out of your new ones (if any).
Set 10 years after the events of the 3rd game we start the 4th game off to find that 99.9% of the original cast members have basically been killed off and instead we now have a completely new cast of characters. So long time favourites such as Sofia and others....well there gone now.
The game was also only released in Japan and places within the EU. It was so badly looked upon during early release footage that basically no publisher wanted to release this within the USA region and within about 2 minutes of playing the game you can understand why.
The game was VERY glitchy, ran extremely slowly, controls unresponsive, awful graphics and piss poor animation + collision detection make playing this game feel painful.
Its a very sad way for the franchise to end considering how well the first and second game did when released in the early years.
