17Here we have gameplay footage of a game which i doubt many know even exist Golden Axe Remake for the PS2.
The game was released under the Sega-Ages range and was a remake of the original arcade/mega drive game. However as you can clearly see its almost like Sega had a budget of $10 to make this game and even then seem to have tried to push the developers to work miracles.
The game now has very badly put together mechanics, a clunky hit detection system, is extremely unfair to the player if they make a single mistake, has badly put together cut scenes and has changed the gnomes for rats???
Golden Axe Remake was a Japanese exclsuive PS2 title much like all the other Sega-Ages releases such as Virtua-On and Virtua Fighter 2. So sadly unless you imported this then you had no way of enjoying these Sega games on your PS2 console.
