Most people became familiar with the GTA series with the third game, but that is disappointing because they missed out on a great game in GTA 2. The game is played from a top down perspective, which will take some getting use to. You move through the open world, completing missions from pay-phones or just causing mayhem in the three different districts. There are different factions that you need to keep happy to unlock missions. The game is a great look back at how far the series has come while not straying far from its roots.
