Director Commentary:
The reason this took almost 3 times as long as when it should have come out is because I wanted to try a different (and overall more cumbersome) editing style where I'm doing lots... and lots... of cuts. So many that you might have to stop the video or watch it at a slower speed to catch anything. The past few videos of mine the retention has been quite poor, so I'm hoping this new method will increase viewer retention. Or something like that lol. I had fun... except for the beginning of the editing process. Premiere Pro crashed 5 separate times and really killed the buzz at some points during editing. Morale got pretty low. But I just kept on trucking paha. I think something else that really buggered the process is that I'm really inefficient? I really did record myself playing the whole game (Probably will upload that to NoirBrand if interested, go and search that channel for it), and from there I took snippets of what I needed to fit the script and stuff. Instead of recording the game, and maybe going through a second time specializing specifically for the things that I needed for the script (which is definitely how I'll do it next time). I'll have to find alternative methods for capturing gameplay and maybe include more twitch clips in the future production or something. Not sure. Anyway. The next video I'm thinking might be totally different, I've been toying around with the idea of a "Internet Historian Incognito" style storytelling where I tell my experiences from being a salesman... Might jump back in and do some VR content. Regardless though, I definitely want to try pushing for one video a month in the least, with maybe some smaller productions weekly? I really want to try weekly content. But that just doesn't seem like a possibility lol. Anyway, this is too long. If anyone actually cares... Thanks paha. Oh yeah. #Obama4Smash
