Darksiders first full playthrough (Warmastered Edition) - Week 1
3I'd been debating what to play next during weeknights. Eventually I remembered that I'd had thoughts of playing through Darksiders I & II since probably as far back as 2020.
At some point over a decade ago, I had played part of the original version of Darksiders (before Warmastered came out), but never finished it. That being said, I don't remember much in the way of details - barely enough to be able to say "oh yeah, this guy" when I reach certain points.
I always wanted to give the game another look because I thought its combination of Devil May Cry / (original) God of War and Zelda mechanics was interesting. There isn't a ton of backtracking, but there are bits sprinkled in. Almost reminds me a bit of PS2-era Ys games like The Oath in Felghana in that regard too, I suppose.
Since my individual streams broke at slightly awkward points, I decided to stitch my first 3 play sessions together into one video (with breaks and one or two uneventful points cut), which I'm guessing encompasses somewhere between a third and half of the game.
