I only asked for one adjustment - having ChatGPT re-write the parting message about delivering the future (the original draft wasn't as memorable).
In the morning I was in a "use it or lose it" mood with my monthly ElevenLabs quota (I had 50,000+ character left to use in under one hour) and so I made ChatGPT generate scripts about multiple games and other media I like... Metal Gear Solid 1, Persona 4, Gravity Rush, Half-Life 2, Morrowind, Dark Souls, Lost Odyssey, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus (which was pretty good tbh, I should make it into a video) and the movie Spirited Away.
And I pasted the entire output into ElevenLabs.ai's tool and this was the result.
Because subtitles are so popular, I timed them by hand using AegisSub (it's abandoned software, but still works, thankfully).
The ChatGPT (GPT-4) prompt was:
Write a monolog in the voice of Cave Johnson from Portal 2. I want Cave Johnson to introduce himself and explain, like it is a real thing, the mission that the listener is facing. I want the listener to be the character Sam Porter Bridges from the 2019 game Death Stranding. Have Cave explain to Sam the BRDGES company and their mission related to helping the people of the UCA. Have Cave explain BTs to Sam like he's new to the job. Make sure to make it funny and include a lot of puns and "turns of phrase" so that it's entertaining. I want the monolog to last about 10 paragraphs before he signs off and wishes Sam good luck, with a parting message.
You can use this format with any kind of game or media item you want and it'll probably do a good enough job.
