In this video, we are going to take a closer look at the Deathwatch rules after the release of the Space Marine codex, and the stealth-update to our Deathwatch index from the previous week, which turned out to be not quite what we might have hoped for. In the first part, we will go through the relevant changes in the light of the codex release itself. This includes the new Space Marine detachments, Vanguard Veterans without jump pack going “Legends”, as well as Aggressors getting better power fists. In the second part, we will then look into what this potentially means for the Deathwatch and how to move forward with our current set of rules. Is the Black Spear Task Force still viable for us, or is it better to stick to one of the new detachments? Let’s find out! Lastly, there will be my personal conclusions and a quick summary of what has been covered.
