Space Marine index updates, what does it mean for the Deathwatch?
In this video, we are going to take a closer look at the long-awaited update to the Deathwatch index, which was finally released on Warhammer Community last week. In the first part, we will go through all the relevant changes – and a few things that did not change. This includes Deathwatch Veterans and the Proteus Kill Teams finally getting their attaching leaders fixed, which means that they now can reference the Sternguard Veteran datasheets for leader options. Aside from the Captain, Lieutenant, Chaplain and Librarian being added back, this now also unlocks the Apothecary, Judiciar and Ancient. Furthermore, Centurion models now take 3 slots when boarding a Corvus Blackstar. In the second part, we will then look into what this potentially means for the Deathwatch, including some recommendations for building a competitive Deathwatch list. Lastly, there will be a quick wrap-up of what has been covered.
