Defcon PC Game Mods
10I show some mods for the game Defcon. You can buy on Steam, from the Defcon or Introversion website and download a free demo on the Defcon website and run mods playing that demo also play online with others with it. You have to go to the Defcon website it's not the Introversion website offering the demo. There are 4 mods you can download on the Defcon website also.
If you go to the forums and search "mods" many of the links in the forum posts no longer work as links for downloading mods. For the mods that do exist if you run into issues there are posts that explain how to manage the folders correctly if you get a mod that doesn't work, likely the folders are unorganized. Easy way is you need to organize like this, in the defcon folder make a folder called mods, mod name, data, graphics folders in that order. Mostly the mods I am showing are fighters, silos, radar, airbase, explosions, etc.. they're simple graphical mods but then I show other more complex mods that change entire maps. See the Defcon site which has 4 of these advanced mods. The 1980's mod world map mods came from a site called moddb or something like that. I couldn't get the modern warfare mod to work yet. Might be I need to update. Game crashes when I activate it. I went into the folder and deleted everything except graphical units and it works like that but is only ships and aircraft etc.. not the complete game change mod it is.
