Zet plays through Easy automatic as a speedrun whilst Peli comments on some of the Strategies he utilises. Zet currently holds the world record for Easy Automatic on this game, so it was great fun to commentate on this one. Alot of these strategies are applicable to both Easy Automatic and Normal in this game, though there are some differences.
Breakdown of Skips and tricks
0:54 The Orbs on top of the Statue - This room teaches you the basic mechanics of the game by making you collect 45 orbs to get through the door. This statue skip gives you more than enough to skip this entirely
1:27 If you time this jump right you can bounce off the wall and right to the key to trigger the cutscene
2:24 Here Zet shows some Slash cancelling which enables him to combo easier and finish these enemies more quickly
5:01 A nice little skip which cuts out you having to run round the court yard by just jumping to the door
5:50 By not getting hit, you get a higher ranking enabling you to buy the ability 'Stinger' to move faster
6:32 This is a quick skip that saves you walking up to the Altar
6:38 This is Devil Trigger, which enables you to run. This is the fastest you can move on foot
7:35 Here is Phantom. He can be finished quickly by stingering him as an attack. If you beat him without being damaged, you will recieve a special orb bonus
8:19 This is the first Holy Water bought. This enables you to damage all enemies on the screen, which can clear them out quicker, at a potential cost to you level score
9:24 Here you are supposed to jump to the bottom and ride the lift up to get the Death Sentence. The best way to progress quickly is to just jump off the wall to the ledge
9:51 Nelo Angelo has multiple stages, and will teleport around. You can skip them all by following what Zet does here.
10:11 On this level it is vital to not get hit. As long as you get all the orbs off these Scythhe enemies, and don't get hit, you will receive 2000 extra orbs to buy items you will need soon
11:22 Buy Air Raid for the Next Mission
12:16 River Guardian is taken out with a Holy Water
12:50 We explain the Rankings
15:38 We buy a Purple orb to Charge up out DT Gauge.
16:25 We use Air Raid to skip the platforming segment to get the Ifrit Fire Gauntlets
17:30 Here is the Forest which can send you back to the beggining if you go the wrong way
18:14 We use Air Raid to clear out the Scythes
18:34 We Holy Water the Blade Enemies here
19:40 We avoid being hit by the Blades here to keep our S rank for the mission
21:58 Here is St Elmo. He is taken out with a Holy Water
22:15 Here is Griffon. He is taken out with a couple of Holy Waters
23:11 Here are the underwater Blades you need to kill to progress. If you don't get hit by them you will get an S rank
23:50 Here we get an Untouchable for the next Mission
24:38 Here we buy vortex which is the fastest way to travel in the game
25:34 The Zetta Stinger which allows you to guarantee Stingering down the mountain
26:19 Buy a Purple Orb here to recharge you DT Gauge
27:03 Here we use the Untouchable to fly to the Lances
30:33 Here we jump back on the first statue and stinger across clearing the room quicker
31:26 We use Ifrit on Nightmare 4 times to get his health down, and then finish him with a Holy Water
31:55 We use vortex to clear the broken bridge puzzle, and then collect the orbs to finish the level off
33:05 We slow down here to damage enemies to charge out Devil Trigger gauge
34:00 We use Vortex to get to the Quicksilver
35:59 The Zetta angle. This lets us fire at the Scissor enemy straight away taking them out quickly
37:35 We talk about how the use of the L3 button lets us swap between Ifrit and Alastor on the fly
39:40 We use Vortex to clear the bridge once more
41:00 This is Our Strat for clearing Nightmare
41:30 This is a quick way to destroy the heart and progress with the level
42:30 Here we utilise the Stinger/Grenade gun combo, which enables us to kill these Nobodies quickly
44:30 We buy a Purple orb to Charge our Devil Trigger for Mundus
45:14 We jump in the lava to attack Mundus quicker. Whilst we are using Devil Trigger, our health recharges at around the same rate the lava takes it away
