Goldeneye 007 was developed by Rareware, and was released in 1997 for the Nintendo 64. It became the 3rd best selling N64 game worldwide, which was a surprise for a movie licensed game, and one which had received such little attention at E3 1997. This was directed by Martin Hollis who was the first computer science graduate at Rare in 1993. During development he worked 80 hour weeks, and was so sick of James Bond by the end, he didn't want to work on the games sequel. There were 3 composers for this title. Graham Norgate who worked on Donkey Kong Land and The timesplitters series, amongst other games, Robin Beanland who did the score for Sea of thieves and Conkers Bad Fur day, and of course Grant Kirkhope who is probably most famous for scoring Banjo Kazooie. As a tidbit, we mention in the video that he won several awards for the OST to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. As an aside, this game is very popular to speedrun. Zet could almost have ranked pretty low on the scoreboard with this play through. We may film a speedrun at somepoint in the future. The leaderboard can be seen at the following link:
